Motorized Bioclimatic Pergola 10x13ft 3x4 m
Description
The motorized Ombréa® bioclimatic pergola measuring 3 x 4 meters (10 x 13 feet) is equipped with a discreet motor integrated into one of the side beams. All wiring is concealed within the beams, exiting through a post to connect directly to your home electrical system.
Primarily made of aluminum, this pergola can withstand winds up to 100 km/h (62 mph) and offers exceptional quality. The brightness, shading, and ventilation can be adjusted with blades that can be oriented up to 135°, controllable by remote control.
Extensions on the beams allow the blades, when opened to 90°, to remain invisible from the outside.
Even during precipitation, this pergola remains an ideal relaxation space thanks to its waterproof roof and an innovative drainage system that directs water towards the posts.
It is suggested to keep the blades open in winter to prevent snow accumulation and in case of strong winds.
This installation may require a construction permit. It is recommended to check with your municipality for any necessary procedures.
For a pergola completely adapted to your needs, you can add accessories:
- Up to 2 blinds of 3 meters (10 feet)
- Up to 2 blinds of 4 meters (13 feet)
- Up to 6 slatted panels of 1 meter (3 feet)
- Up to 6 slatted panels of 1.3 meters (4 feet)

Are you thinking of setting up a pergola to enjoy your outdoor spaces all year round? Opt for a freestanding bioclimatic pergola from Ombréa®. Ideal for creating a relaxation area sheltered from the sun and bad weather, this installation also protects you from climate changes.
What is a freestanding bioclimatic pergola?
Also known as a freestanding or island pergola, the freestanding pergola is an open shelter supported by at least four posts.
Description of the freestanding pergola
The freestanding pergola is a structure that rests on four legs directly anchored to the ground. Unlike a leaning pergola which is fixed to a wall of the house, this island shelter is completely independent. Thus, you can install it anywhere on your property to cover the terrace, shelter a hammock near the pool, or even create a cozy space in the middle of the garden.
Due to the presence of the pillars, a freestanding pergola is especially suitable for large spaces. With dimensions of 3x3 m (10x10 ft) to 4x4 m (13x13 ft), the structure will cover an area of about 15 square meters (approximately 161 square feet). You will therefore have enough space to move around a table, to set up a garden lounge, or even to frequently host guests. For your information, arranging a pergola of 4x3 meters (approximately 13x10 feet) may require a prior declaration with your municipality.
Why set up a freestanding bioclimatic pergola?
To enhance the comfort of your living space, bet on a freestanding bioclimatic pergola. By enhancing your property with its many configurations, this structure offers a multitude of customizations and options. Moreover, its aluminum manufacturing material guarantees robustness and excellent longevity.
Our advice
The structure must be installed on a solid, flat base. It is preferable to place it on a concrete slab.
If you opt for concrete footings, a dimension of 25 x 25 cm (approximately 10 x 10 inches) is recommended.
During snowfall, it is advisable to leave the slats open to prevent any damage.
This pergola may be subject to a building permit application. It is recommended to inquire with your municipality for any necessary procedures.
